Beginning Sunday, November 29th!

 “The wind howls, the days darken, and snow falls upon the land. The Spirits of Winter abound, Elves hide in the shadows, and the twinkle of stars above guide us home. The Old Ways are with us now…”

In this 3-week course, presented by Psychic Medium Josh Simonds, you’ll explore the rich pagan lore, history, and customs of Winter and the old world celebrations of the Winter Solstice.

Participants will receive instruction and guidance with spiritual practices, rituals, exercises, divination, and hands-on practices & crafts to help them build traditions and memories around the darkest time of the year. You’ll dance with Spirits, make offerings to Elves, and join Odin in his Wild Hunt across the Winter Sky. You’ll look back to the Old Ways to create new memories with friends and family, all while cultivating new relationships with spirits of your home, your land, and of the Winter Season.

It will be a Winter celebration you’ll never forget.

This course will include:

• A private Facebook group for discussions, lessons, and community

• Video and document lessons, including history, myths, legends, and lore involving the pagan roots of Winter Olde, delivered each Sunday over 3 weeks

• Weekly exercises, rituals, spells, crafts, and exercises

• A care package of spiritual goods cultivated specifically for your winter tidings, including incense, candles, craft supplies, runes, and my book “The Beginner’s Guide to Runes,” and more!

This is a class designed for spiritual levels of all strengths, from beginners to adept. In this class, you’ll share in exercises and rituals available only here, helping you to learn how to welcome back the Sun for the Winter Solstice, as well as celebrating the Spirits of the Season.

What’s required to take this course:

A Facebook account, an internet connection, and a desire to enliven your home, enrich your heart, and enrapture yourself with the Spirits of the Season! You’ll also be working with the runes as they’re connected to that Jolly Old Elf himself, Odin, as well as a copy of Josh’s book, “The Beginner’s Guide to Runes.” You won’t need an in-depth understanding of the runes, but you’ll need a set and a simple guidebook to help you with the divination practices we’ll be using in the class.

Note: if you do not want to include the runes in this class, you do not have to. There will be recommended uses of them around your rituals, crafts, and divinations, though you can work through the class without incorporating them. If you choose not to use the runes, you’ll want a divinatory tool like Tarot or Oracle cards so you can participate in the divination exercises included in the course.

There is no schedule to adhere to, as all class videos will be prerecorded and all course materials will be delivered on Sunday of each week. When you sign up, you’ll shortly thereafter receive an email with instructions on how to take part in the class.

Fees:

~ $120 for the 3-week course and the care package of incense, candles, charcoal tablets, and craft supplies (select this option if you do not want to use runes in this course, or if you already have a set of runes and Josh’s book, “The Beginner’s Guide to Runes”)

~ $150 for the 3-week course, the care package, AND a set of wooden runes and a copy of Josh’s book, “The Beginner’s Guide to Runes”

The following are partial payment options, where the cost of the class is split into two payments. The second payment will be due by the end of the first week of the course, or by December 6th.
